Use:
Neuropathic pain is a type of pain caused by damage to the nerves. It is treated with a mixture of two medicines that work together to repair the damaged nerve fibres. This helps to reduce pain and improve mood.
Indication:
it can be taken with food, but it is recommended to take it the same time every day. This helps to keep the dose of medicine in your body consistent. You should take the medicine as prescribed and for as long as your doctor tells you. If you forget to take a dose, take it right away. You should continue with the treatment, even if you start to feel better. Don’t stop taking it suddenly.
Side Effects:
Nausea, constipation, headache, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), ejaculation disorder, erectile dysfunction, and low sexual desire are some of the most common side effects. These side effects are only temporary and usually go away on their own after a few days. Talk to your doctor if they persist or get worse.
Safety Advice:
While taking this medication, you should not drink alcohol as it may worsen some of its side effects. This medication can also cause weight gain, so it is important to eat a balanced diet, avoid high-calorie snacks and exercise regularly. If you notice any unusual changes in your mood or behaviour, or new or worsening depression or suicidal thoughts or behaviours, please inform your doctor.
