It can be taken with food, but if your child has an upset stomach, it’s best to take it with a meal. The dosage and duration of this medicine will vary depending on the nature and severity of your child’s infection. Keep in mind the dose, the time of day, and the route of administration as prescribed by your doctor. If you notice your child vomiting within 30 minutes after taking this medication, repeat the same dose, but don’t take two doses if it’s almost time for your next dose.
Side Effects:
it may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and other temporary side effects. These side effects usually resolve as your child’s body adjusts to the medicine. If they persist or become unbearable for your child, call your doctor right away.
Safety Advice:
Your child’s entire medical history should be shared with your doctor. This includes any previous episodes of allergies, heart issues, blood issues, birth defects, lungs anomalies, gastrointestinal issues, skin issues, liver and kidney problems, etc. This information is essential for dose adjustments and overall treatment planning.
