Use:
Anti-helminthics belong to a group of drugs known as anti-helminths. These drugs are used to treat worm infections and to treat filariasis. Anti-helminths can be used to treat both larvae and adults of the parasite that causes filariasis.
Indication:
it should be used according to your doctor’s instructions as to the dose and duration.
It should be taken with a meal, preferably at a set time.
Avoid skipping any dose and complete the treatment course, even if you are feeling better.
Do not take more than one dose at a time to make up for the missed dose.
Take the next dose as scheduled.
Side Effects:
Some people experience headaches, dizziness, nausea, and liver function tests that are not normal for this medicine. If you experience these side effects for an extended period of time, please speak to your doctor. You may also need to have blood tests and liver tests during your treatment.
Safety Advice:
It is not known if it is safe to drink alcohol with this medication. There is no information on its use during pregnancy. This medication may reduce your alertness, impair your vision, or make you feel drowsy and dizzy. If these symptoms occur, do not drive. There is limited information on its use in patients with liver and kidney disease. Talk to your doctor.
