Coronavirus Covid-19 Test- RT-PCR examination helps in the identification of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It uses the Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) technique, which involves obtaining a nasal or throat swab. RT-PCR is the most dependable and precise test (considered the gold standard) for precisely detecting and initiating appropriate treatment for COVID-19.

Another type of test to assess Covid infection is: Antibody IgG test, it is a blood test to detect the presence of IgG antibodies formed in response to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. These antibodies develop after 2 weeks of encountering the virus.
