Use:
Ciplox eye/ear drops are an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes and ears. It helps to reduce the symptoms of an eye/ear infection by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria that cause the infection.
Indication:
Ciplox eye/ear drops should only be used externally. Use the prescribed dose and duration according to your doctor’s instructions. Place the dropper near your eyes or ears without touching them. Squeeze the dropper gently and place the drops inside your eyelid or ears. Remove any excess liquid. Do not skip any doses and complete the entire treatment course even if you start to feel better.
Side Effects:
The majority of side effects do not need medical treatment and go away as your body adapts to the medicine. Talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or if you are concerned about them. Ciplox side effects include: Ocular hyperemia, Corneal deposits, Taste change, Eye discomfort.
Safety Advice:
It may cause itching and burning sensation at the application site immediately after application. These symptoms are temporary and usually resolve on their own. If they persist for an extended period of time, please inform your doctor.
It may cause short term blurred vision when first used for eye infections. Use with caution before driving or operating machines. Do not use contact lenses while using this medicine.
