Use:
NSAIDS (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) are a group of medicines that contain the active ingredient ibuprofen. Paracetamol is also a medicine that contains this active ingredient. It is used to reduce fever and pain in babies and children. It also helps to reduce redness and swelling.
Indication:
To get the most benefit from this medicine, make sure you follow the dosage, timing, and route of administration. Give it orally to your child, preferably after a meal, as this will reduce the risk of stomach upset. If your kid vomits within half an hour of taking the medicine, repeat the same dose. If it’s time for your child’s next dose, don’t repeat it. Never exceed the recommended dosage for quick relief, as this may cause adverse reactions in your child.
Side Effects:
Your child may experience adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, heartburn and diarrhoea. These reactions are only temporary and will go away once your child’s body adjusts to the medicine. However, if they persist or become an issue for your child, it is important to consult your child’s doctor as soon as possible.
Safety Advice:
Before administering the product, make sure to tell your child’s doctor if they are allergic to any medications or products, have a history of heart defects, liver problems, kidney diseases, lung diseases, or bleeding disorders. This is important information for dose adjustment and helps plan your child’s treatment plan.
