Alphadol is a soft gelatin capsule that contains 0.25 mcg of vitamin D. This supplement is used to treat vitamin D deficiency. It helps to keep your body’s calcium levels stable. It also helps in strengthening the weak bones that are caused by vitamin D deficiency.
Indication:
Alphadol is a soft gelatin capsule that contains 0.25 mcg of vitamin D-Hormone. It works by activating the liver enzymes to convert vitamin D3 into the active form, calcitriol. Calcitriol helps to strengthen the bones and also controls other parts of the body. Your doctor will tell you how to take this medicine. You should not stop taking it without your doctor’s instructions. It should be taken as a whole, not chewed or crushed, and taken with food.

Alphadol 0,5mcg Soft gelatin Capsule side effects include:Rashes, High blood calcium level, High blood phosphate level, Itching, Abdominal pain.The use of Alphadol is not recommended if you have: hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels), Calcification (high body calcium levels).

It is recommended to have regular blood tests after taking this medicine to check the calcium and phosphate levels in your blood. If you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, it is not recommended to drink alcohol after taking this medication.
