Uses:
AF 50 Dispersible Tablet is Antifungal class of medicine, which use to treat the wide range of infection coused by the fungi and yeast. It used to treat the infection of mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including nails.
AF 50 Dispersible Tablet contain Fluconazole, it worked by blocking an enzyme in fungi that is involved in the normal metabolism of fat, it disrupts the formation of a fungal cell membrane that destroy the cell of fungi and yeast.
Indications:
The dose and duration will be determined by the patient’s condition. The patient can take the tablet with or without a meal. The patient can swallow the entire tablet with a drink of water. Dose and duration will be based on the patient’s condition as prescribed by the doctor.
Side Effects:
The most common side effects are headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach upset, dizziness, stomach pain, and altered food tastes. If these side effect persist for log time stop the medicine and consult with your doctor.
Safety Advice:
Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing heart condition, weakened immune system (HIV/AIDS), kidney disease, liver disease (yellow skin jaundice). This medication may cause dizziness, so you should avoid driving or operating machinery until it is safe to do so.
